The Archive's Biggest Origin Has Almost No Scores Yet
46 bars, one review. The Dominican Republic is the largest origin group in the archive, and members have barely touched it.

That single review sits at 3 out of 5, logged against Definite Chocolate's Zorzal 100%, a bar that strips everything back to unsweetened cacao from a single Dominican estate. It is a fair starting point, not a verdict. The remaining 45 bars, from makers including Goodnow Farms, Fruition, and Eigen Chocolate, have no scores at all. Some pair Dominican cacao with passion fruit, elderflower, or black urfa chili. Others let the cacao stand alone at 70 or 90 percent. What they share is a provenance that the archive has not yet had the chance to argue about. That is the honest picture. It also means that whoever scores next is not adding to a consensus, they are starting one.
